ABOUT AJJA |

Our Mission To teach adults and children, professional and the lay person the best researched self-defense in Canada. To expand Jiu-Jitsu clubs throughout the province and coach instructors. To teach Kidsafe programs to Alberta communities and expand partnerships in the province. |

· To provide leadership and direction in the training of Jiu-Jitsu (Jujutsu) for members, instructors, and school owners; · To provide a means to facilitate open and continuous communication within the Jiu-Jitsu (Jujutsu) community in Alberta; · To promote participation in Jiu-Jitsu (Jujutsu) in Alberta; · To establish standards for training and technical grading requirements for all ranks, including Black Belt; · To act as liaison with organizations with similar goals and objectives within and outside the Province of Alberta; · To provide subsidy for training of members in Jiu-Jitsu (Jujutsu) or similar self-defense programs for single parent and/or low-income families.
